A safe and supportive home for pregnant women and children in need
motherhood is a journey and every journey matters
Sisters Haven is a faith based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides safe housing and a loving community to pregnant women and mothers with children without judgment. We serve adult women who are experiencing homelessness, poverty and lack a support system to help them through pregnancy. Sisters Haven will have capacity for six pregnant women to stay until the child is approximately nine months old in a single family home in the Cudell neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio.

Let’s Build This House!
Our dedicated team invites you to join us in making a difference in the lives of local women who are facing challenges as they take on the obstacles and joys of motherhood. With the generous donation of a west side house and the help of architects and contractors, our renovations are underway. By clicking the purple “Donate” button at the top of this webpage, you will assist our fundraising efforts, and help us reach our goal to open the doors of our supportive housing community in 2025.

Mission
Supporting Mothers, Building Families, Developing Community and Upholding Love
Vision
Our vision is that every mother is well equipped to reach her God-given potential for herself and her family by having the resources, skills and support to love her children and herself well.
“Sadly, there are too few housing options for pregnant women experiencing homelessness in our community. The arrival of Sisters Haven will be a life-saving option for pregnant women who are sleeping on the streets of Cleveland. Having a therapeutic caring space on the west side of Cleveland to offer women will make us one step closer to ending homelessness and more importantly, It will make all of us better at loving the people we encounter on the street.”
– Chris Knestrick, Executive Director of the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless
