Recently, Sisters Haven sponsored a "Hey Mama! Baby Health and Safety CPR Workshop". This interactive, hands-on session focused on infant CPR, baby safety, and sleep safety—essential skills for every parent and caregiver. The room was filled with mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and even a dedicated nanny, all eager to learn from Val Woods CPR Trainer (approved by the American Heart Association and Red Cross), Angela Henderson from the Cuyahoga County Board of Health's Safe Sleep Program, and Camila Medina from the Ohio Department of Children and Youth's Help Me Grow/Bright Beginnings Program. This dynamic team of professionals was excited to teach and train the participants. Under their expert guidance, attendees practiced life-saving techniques and received crucial tips to ensure their children's health and safety. These workshops provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, helping caregivers build confidence in handling emergency situations. Additionally, attendees took home baby CPR kits and safe cribs (if needed) to help implement their knowledge. #sistershaven
